IUSE Webinars – Community Colleges

NSF has released a new Program Solicitation NSF 14-588 titled Improving Undergraduate STEM Education (IUSE) that provides a mechanism for submitting proposals for “research-based and research-generating approaches to understanding STEM learning; to designing, testing, and studying curricular change; to wide dissemination and implementation of best practices; and to broadening participation of individuals and institutions in STEM fields.” The Division of Undergraduate Education (DUE) is collaborating with the Virtual Faculty Collaborative (VFC), a partnership between AAAS, Louisiana State University, and Higher Education Services, to offer several webinars to discuss the IUSE Program.

The IUSE Proposal Writing Workshop will be held from 12:30-2:30pm (Eastern Time) on Friday, September 19th.

The IUSE Community Forum Webinar will be held on Friday, September 26th 12:30-2:30pm (Eastern Time).  In this session, NSF program officers will address several items related to the IUSE Program and the NSF proposal submission process. The session will also include several opportunities for asking questions.

To register for one of these webinars, please access the application website.

Registration for all sessions will be limited to 300 individuals and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Also, registration for a given session will be closed three days prior to the date of the session.
